ULTIMATE GRILLING RECIPE CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID OUTSIDE THE FIFTY UNITED STATES AND WHERE PROHIBITED. ALL CONTEST ENTRIES ARE SUBJECT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES WHICH GOVERN ALL ASPECTS OF PARTICIPATION AND PRIZE AWARD.

ELIGIBILITY:

Entrants must be legal U.S. residents age 18 and over at time of entry. Employees of Workman Publishing Co., Inc., Broadmoor Hotel, Inc., Weber-Stephen Products Co., and Charcoal Companion, Inc., and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, promotional partners, and the immediate families of each living in the same household are not eligible to enter.

By accepting a prize, winner (and traveling companion, and parent or legal guardian, if applicable) agrees to release and hold harmless Workman Publishing Co., Inc., Broadmoor Hotel, Inc., Weber-Stephen Products Co., and Charcoal Companion, Inc., and each of their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and directors, officers, attorneys, employees and agents from any all damage, injury, death, loss or other liability of any kind that may arise from or in connection with his or her acceptance of a prize, possession or use of any prize, or his or her participation in this promotion or from any misuse or malfunction of any prize awarded.

HOW TO ENTER:
To enter, submit your original Ultimate Grilling Recipe by clicking ENTER THE CONTEST and using the submit form on Barbecuebible.com, between April 27, 2009, 12:00:01 a.m. (Eastern Daylight Savings Time) and July 10, 2009, 11:59:59 (Eastern Daylight Savings Time). The recipe should be complete, in good recipe form, with accurate measurements and directions—please, no “pinch,” “smidge,” or “till it looks done”—with complete grilling instructions and times. In order to be eligible, your recipe must be your own and original and should never have been published before, won any other prize, been submitted or entered in any other recipe or food preparation contest, or been used for advertising or promotional purposes.

We also encourage you to be proud of your dish. While the recipe alone is being judged for the contest, please feel free to share more. If you’ve got a good story, tell it. If you’ve taken photographs, feel free to send them along. If you’ve created a video of you cooking the recipe and posted it online, send the link. Extra material will not factor into judging the entry, but we do like to think of BarbecueBible.com as a community, and love to know more from our fellow grillers.

For purposes of these rules, “receipt” of an electronic entry occurs when Sponsor’s servers record the entry information upon clicking the “submit” (or similar) button. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the individual who is the registered holder of the email account. All entries must include your name and e-mail address. Incomplete entries will be voided.
