Labor Day Weekend Part 2...(just a couple pix)

On Monday, I made Steven Raichlen's Honey and Lime Chicken (from the Huli Huli recipe)...I don't have a Rotisserie, so I improvised and Spatchcocked it....

My wife and I went over to her coworker's house on Sunday, so I didn't get to grill that night. Last night, it was a simple cook with some Johnsonville Turkey Pepperjack Sausages...

And a couple Ribeyes dusted with some DP Red Eye Express for tonight's dinner...



I love food.

Hey Dyal those are some seriously good looking picture you've got there. The chicken looks wonderful and those are some killer looking grill marks on the steaks!! They are 3 dimensional. Did you use a grill press of some kind to get some depth to the grill marks? Looking good!

Ahhh....finally the sequel! And for once, a sequel that doesn't disappoint. Chicken looks great. I'm gonna have to try that. Love that second picture, grate grill marks and love the fire shooting up. Pure art.

Thanks a lot, fellas! The grate marks weren't perfect....if you look at the steak on the right, it's missing a couple cross hatch marks...the steak kind of hovered over those two grates I guess when I made the 90 degree turn.

Jim, I didn't use a press. Just high heat, good lubrication and the Cast Iron Grate.

Great finish to the weekend...both meals look spectacular!
