I just picked up a new OC smoker at the new Academy Sports in Snellville for $349, and after giving it a 4th of July workout I must say this is a huge step up from my 8 year old retire Chargriller Super pro.

I used the Chris Lilly injection and rub and my Wife and Pastor said it was the best BBQ they have ever had. WooHooo! Must of been the new smoker....NOT! Chris Lilly's rub/injection is the best stuff ever!!!!

And this is the two pork butts. Nothing is left from this smoke. :)

Sounds like you got a good buy on that pit. I think those are usually $499 at my local Academy. Love it when that happens!
