no question, Smoke Stack is some of the best in the country...

I had to be in KC on business in July 2007, got there a day early, and did a "tour" of 4 BBQ joints in KC in one day (yea, I am nuts, and had BBQ poisoning for a week). Jack Stack was my favorite food-wise, although the "feel" of the place was very yuppie compared to the others (Arthur Bryant's, Gates, and Oklahoma Joe's)

Being that I live in KC I LOVE Jack Stack's... I still haven't got to Arthur Bryants but I made it to most every else. But when I feel like going out for Q I just go to JS...

Is Boyd's still in KC? That was some good stuff.

It has been many years since I have been there, but do recall going to Bryant's the next day and wondering what the hoopla was about, considering what I had at Boyd's.
