This has been an idea of mine for a couple of years now. Getting the plan exactly right and all the parts and pieces assembled took me that long to complete as well.
The stainless cart measures 27'"x 84" and is mounted on 6 casters.
The top is 30" x 96" and was made at Washington Marble and Granite in Ijamsville, MD. The hooks in the front hold all the tools when the chef(s) are working!
I'll be happy to answer any questions that you might have. Tomorrow is July 4th and and the Grill Center will be initiated!

That is way slick. How bout some more specific details about the SS cart. Is it a SS table with the top taken off? Where did you get it? Lastly, if it isn't too personal, how much does a slab of granite like that cost with cutting included? I like that set up awhole bunch.

T Rex. Thanks for your post and complement!.
Let's just say, "The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys."
The stainless cart is my design. The sizes and the locations of the angle supports on the top of the cart must be exact. Otherwise, when the countertop is laid on top, the holes won't be unobstructed, and the grills won't fit. This one worked like a dream! The granite can only safely overhang 6". A little more you could probably get away with, but I wasn't about to take chances. I took the plan to two diffrent stainless shops. The first turned me down saying they were too busy. The second guy said he had been doing this stuff all his life and I believe him. He ordered the neoprene casters and the thing rolls like a kiddy car. The shelf is at a specific height that allows for the legs of the Weber One Touch Golds to stand on their legs. The fit of the grills into the counter was so accurate that I decided to not use the legs, at least for now. The grills are supported by the rolled lips of the grill on the top of the counter. In theory, it could loaded into the back of the truck and taken to your favorite tail gate site. Well, maybe someday. I'd either have to miss the race or the game guarding the grill center later though! LOL! The guys at Washington Marble and Granite I have known for 25 years. I will let them quote you pricing on the top.

That's no little boy's toy...............That's a man station, there! Hope to see some pics of it in action. I like to fiddle around with my little arc welder and that is something I'd like to attempt. I can't do the SS though. Could you post a blueprint of the cart and specific measurements? Very nice indeed!!

To initiate the new grill center, I'll be cooking Italian sausage, my home made minnie chicken drummies, and Garlic Griilled Tomatoes (recipe courtesy of Paula Deen).

Bob that looks well built. Very Happy I hope that get many good years out of the cooking center. Dual grills is too cool. Cool

Do you have a place to sit the lids while turning food?

Bob. Great question. Currently, I am setting the lids of the shelf under the kettles, but I am going to add hanging hooks on each end of the grill center so that I can properly and conveniently hang the lids.

I think a good hooks to hang the lids would be icing on the cake.

That is a very nice setup you have there Bob! I've been searching for a SS Prep table to mount my Kamado and BGE into. Will you have a cover for it?

Great cook center, Bob!

I remember seeing plans years ago for a wood center with tile top similar to this, one grill only. IIRC, the grill was supported with fire bricks under the top, placed so the grill sat between them and wouldn't fall. You've went way beyond the one I saw.
