Join Steven at the Southern Food and Beverage Museum in New Orleans for a provocative lecture on the history of barbecue, from the discovery of live fire cooking by Homo erectus more than one million years ago to the invention of the charcoal briquette; the barbecue pit and gas grill, and the modern barbecue restaurant.
