That’s Shawarma in the Middle East, Doner in Turkey, or Gyros in Greece.
The area looks like Greece or Turkey; however, few countries in Central and South America have incorporated this vertical rotisserie cooking into their cultures.
I would vote for Greece or Turkey though.
Here is my version of Shawarma home cooking:
BBcue-Z is correct, popular all over the eastern Mediterranean and most countries in the middle east. We call it a doner kebab or Shawarma here, depends on what part of England you are in. they are best eaten after about 6 pints of beer, goes down a treat ........ Normally cost about £2 here ...... Delishh...
Too difficult to say where he is but i would say either Turkey or maybe Syria ....
