I'm only a novice but I did my second BCC yesterday.
Because I was very pressed for time MrsTrat decided to help out by peeling the spuds. This freaked me out a bit (not that I showed any fear at not knowing what to do with naked potatoes) because I was planning to do jacked potatoes.
I made-up a mix of Chinese Rice Wine and EVO to baste the potatoes. They were great.
She also presented me with a bunch of carrotts. Not knowing what to do with them either I got some seaseme oil and grated ginger and roasted them too.
Great BCC, Roasted Potatoes and Carrotts. Very happy eaters.......
I thought I was heading for a Q disaster......what were your disasters that were skillfully averted?
