I just completed a batch of Cornell Chicken, which I've never cooked before. It is great.
It's probably the best barbecue chicken I've tasted (although I am excepting Beer Can Chicken from this competition, since that's a different style ).
The two options Steven discusses are direct grilling and indirect grilling. I opted for direct grilling and had no problems with burning the outside before the inside is done. And I must admit I was a little worried that I would.
In any event, it is truly wonderful. Give it a shot!
