Hey folks, I tried something different (for me) yesterday and was quite pleased. I was cooking some Kielbasa as a 2nd meat with the Pork ribs I had smoked and then was going to grill some Pineapple. I decided to throw the pineapple rind in the coals while cooking the Kielbasa.
The results were great! The pineapple seemed to give the Kielbasa a slightly sweet smoky flavor and took off the strong after-taste that Kielbasa usually has.
Everyone loved it. Give it a try if you have pineapple on your menu.
