I don't know if it is a major faux paus here to use a pre-packaged rub (I'm new to the board), but this past weekend I cooked an EXCELLENT slab of ribs and used Bone Suckin' Sauce Rib Rub. Here's a link to their site to read about it: http://www.bonesuckin.com/rib_rub.html
. My wife and my parents haven't quit raving about how good they were. I did use Steven's mustard/cider vinegar/salt mop sauce and applied it every 30 minutes for 2 hours. The ribs were incredible.
