I am looking for a charcoal grill. I been looking at the sierra charcoal grill from williams sonoma, made by charbroil. Also been looking at the char griller super smoker which seems nice since its a smoker and a grill. If the sierra grill is a good grill to cook then i will get that and a seperate smoker. Any help from the experts would be great. Thanks

I have the Char Griller and I’ve been quit happy with it. There was an earlier discussion about the unit here is the link:
I don’t know anything about the Sierra grill, maybe a board member that has one can advise you on it.
Good luck and Happy grilling.

itic welcome to the board.

The Sierra Charcoal grill from Williams Sonoma looks a lot like the Char-Broil Santa Fe - 491 Charcoal Grill. Maybe an owner of one of those could help shed some light as well. Next time you look at the grill ask how easy it is to clean out the ash. I like the 532-sq.-in. cast-iron grilling surface!

The Char Griller Super Smoker has gained great popularity around here lately.

Unfortunately, I haven't either unit to beof much help. Good luck finding your new grill and hope you'll stick around. :D

The Char-Broil is made out of sheet metal.

This one...

Is made from cold rolled steel.

This thing is a TANK.

I still think the Weber 22" gold for platinum is a better buy.

For grilling I would go with the best Weber you can afford. They are all great and fit into any budget, from the basic 18.5" for $59.95 all the way to the Ranch Kettle for around a grand. You can't go wrong with a Weber.
