I am doing 4 pork shoulders low and slow for my son's graduation party.

I have always used a dry rub and mopped during the smoke. I was thinking of injecting the shoulders after seeing it done on the Memphis in May show on the Food Network. Should I inject? Does it make a better shoulder? If so, what should I inject it with?

Thanks in advance.

Why not try injecting two of them and seeing which you like better.

I used Chris Lilly's Pork Injection on one of two butts recently. I liked the injected butt better. I also sprinkled some leftover rub into the pork after pulling (a Dr. BBQ tip) and thought it was a help.
