I'm going to do 6-8 beer can chickens in the horizontal this weekend. Setting up and indirect fire in the main chamber and cooking 2 birds took aprx. 1 - 1 1/2 hours. This time I will use the firebox for my heat source. I'm thinking if I maintain a 230 - 250 degree temp ti will probably take aprx. 3-4 hours.
Any thoughts on this?
