Just did a check for upcoming broadcasts of BBQU on the PBS channel here (D.C)

Maryland Public Television is airing SEVEN back to back shows on Sunday May 30th.

From 11:30 on.

Got to www.mpt.org

And check listings by show for more info.

I may have to buy that DVD recorder yet!

Just in case some of you have missed it.

The complete list of stations that carry BBQU is posted under

http://www.barbecuebible.com/blog/2004_ ... chedul.php

This oughta help those who have had trouble finding it locally.

YB it looks like MPT and Frappe Inc. are the ones that produce Steven's shows. MPT may be the key to DVD's.

MPT could be a start.

A google produced these two links about Frappe. One is about BBQU
the second is about other cooking shows that Frappe has produced

www.mpt.org/pressroom/pr/prdisplay.cfm?pruid=04030801

www.mpt.org/programsinterests/mpt/jewis ... insky.html

I've sent and e-mail to MPT showing an interest in a set of DVD's of the first season.

We'll have to wait and see if they respond.

A multi-frontal assault might get the ball rolling...or at least wake an executive to a potential market.

Rob,

Thanks for the tip about the show. I will try to catch it. Then again, watching a grilling show on mother's day. This may take some planning......maybe send her and daughter to the mall or something......

Larry, check the date.
That's May 30th for the "grillathon" not May 8th.

You're of the hook!

I'll be hiding in the woods, tossing pine cones into the firebox
every time you turn your back.

Let me know how "Smoked Loin of Pork au turpentine"
makes the party.

Hope all goes well. Tell the Mrs. Happy MD from all of us!
