bologna on the grill / smoker

Have you ever made your own bologna? My parents had a meat locker when I was a little kid and didn't really pay attention to what was going on at the time. Now they are both deceased and I never got the recipe for Dad's bologna. I've tried adding commercial seasoning and following their instructions, but it didnt' turn out too well. Any help is greatly appreciated.
