I'm just glad I got a response!

:-)

blackdog870 - I am more the grilling type than the barbecue/smoker type. Maybe that's why I like Bobby Flay. But that doesn't mean I don't like Steven!

I just like grilling! I wish their were more shows on TV about it!

Personally I don't give a crap what the rest of the world thinks. Certianly don't care about people who base there opinions of how we look off of silly cooking shows.

I think with Bobby Flay, he's more of the glitter,or if you prefer, refined foods type of guy. Whereas I, on the other hand, prefer down and dirty, smoke stinking up the back yard, "if it don't walk on four legs don't put it on my grill", type of BBQ. :!:

Can't eat the stuff (salmon), gives me terrible heartburn. Halibut steak is another thing, though. A mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, and a pinch of seasoning salt for basting and grilled over medium heat, is to die for. Beef and pork are still my favourites, though.

What if one were to come across a beef or pork amputee? Would they still qualify?

Thank you GS, I need to backtrack a tad. Papabear, my intent was to welcome you to the board not to dissuade you from participating. We are ALL extremely thankful that you joined for we are greater FOR the sum of our parts . We do tend to jibe with each other on occasion to keep the topic light. I hope that you can appreciate that and realize that I am brain damaged. Looking forward to learning from your grilling experiences in great detail. Welcome to our dysfunctional family!
