Does anybody know what happened to Dave? He's been too quiet for too long.
I miss his input!

You know I've been wondering the same thing. Maybe his hand hasn't healed up from that 17 stitch slash and he's unable to type. Dave if you're out the let us know!

Have no fear I am still alive! In addition to my hobby (OK obsession) for grilling and smoking I also have a few companies that I own and business has been crazy - My days are starting at my office at 6am each morning and will not leave the office until about 9pm in the evening. I have not had much time to work on the Catering business and still working on getting my sausces and rubs bottled and ready for sale. Sadly enough my grill and smoker are feeling very neglected. I knew it was bad when I got a call on my cell phone on Wednesday from my butcher asking if everything was OK. However I vowed to take this weekend off and have already fired up the smoker this morning and the grill is uncovered in prep for a lunch treat. Who knows what the weekend BBQ event will bring but I spent $150 at the butcher yesterday - and you know my feelings about frozen meat, NOT AN OPTION!

Anyway, thanks for the concerns I am going to try to visit the forum every other day so I don't miss anything.

Alas having to work for a living is a bane to most. As I write from the office this morning. But, a porter house on the grill is in store for tonight. Good to see your taking a break.

I'll second that bane! I need to take a break too. The main time I can get online is on Sat or Sun morning. But, I can't really complain, I just hope the public keeps buying those F-150 pickup trucks that I help build for another 18 years. Then I'll retire and annoy my wife.

Back to work Dave, spring time is approaching and as I recall the sauces should be appearing about now? :) Good to hear from you.

Thanks for the thoughts everyone!

Bob - as far as the hand goes, everything healed just fine, however I have a awesome scare to show from it. Now I just need to get a better story that slicing a bagel with a bread knife!!

You mean like the day four ninjas and a samurai tried to heist the BBQ from your Klose?

Dave welcome back!
Always remember:
1. The truth is only between you, the lawyaers and the insurance company.
2. Chicks dig scars.

Now let me ask this.
If I were to buy a bottle of Daves sauce, do I get grief for using a bottled sauce?
