I like that rig!

Make sure you send this link directly to Steven.
I've always wanted to blend grilling, smoking, dutch oven and live fire pan cooking.
You've done it in spades. Looking forward to seeing more both here and on your site.

Hey - I know I'm probably way late to the party, and I've never studied UDS's much (just never got around to it). Well, long story short, I just stumbled across the "Pit Barrel Cooker" and I must say I am duly impressed. Bang for the buck this looks like a worthy purchase for just about anyone. You guys probably discussed this ad-nauseum about 20 pages back, but anyone have any experience with it?

No one has posted in here for quite a long time, hope everyone is still using theirs! I've been cooking on mine now for a few years. Still works great!

Wondering though is anyone has added a bar across the top for hanging, similar to the PBC's. From what I can tell the rebar in the PBC is some how tied to the cooking dynamics of the cooker....don't really see how though.

Has anyone added the bar across the top for vertical cooking in their upright UDS? If so, how'd it work?
