This is my favorite method for ABT's. Halved jalapenos with a dollop of cheese mixture (whipped cream cheese and Colby jack), then a lil' smoky, then wrapped in bacon and dusted down with a BBQ rub. Then smoked indirect with Cherry wood until the bacon is nice and crispy. I will be making more of these this weekend!

Those look really good, especially the bacon! Were the chiles spicy or fairly mild? With the cherry wood the smoke must've smelled awesome!

I haven't made any in ages because no one else at home will eat them, so I'll have to look for some opportunities this summer.

Thanks guys! SC, I kept a little bit of the membrane intact, so they had some "umph", which I like in an ABT.
