I just cooked up a variant of these last night. No pics needed as they looked the same (besides - it was too dark out).
This time I mixed a pound of ground beef and 2 TB of dried onion flakes, a pinch of sage, salt and pepper, and about 4 tsp. of Steven's North African rub from Planet Barbecue. They turned out fabulous as well. I happened to have a bit of homemade pico de gallo
made up, and it went very well with these kebabs.
So last night's batch looked almost identical to the pics, but tasted different, in a very good way.
