Quick--what's special about today? It's the feast day of Lawrence of Rome, the Patron Saint of Chefs and Grill Masters--martyred in 258 CE by the emperor Valerian (who burned him alive on a grill). Who guides YOU in your spiritual BBQ quest?

Lawrence is also my patron Saint. Can't believe I was a heathen on my feast day. Did our running around most of the day and had Taco Bell for lunch and just me a wife for dinner, hadn't pulled anything from freezer before we left, picked up Nick & Vito's frozen pizza for dinner.
