2 other questions... do you use a cover? If so, what kind? Does it leak smoke anywhere you wouldn't expect a leak when doing a long smoke?

No, no cover yet. I will be ordering a dome cover for it soon.

No smoke leak, I think I have a pretty good seal going on.

Well I'm stumped. Mine is shiny on the inside, but I always attributed that to carbonized grease and smoke and what not. I suppose you could do a "clean" burn as some recommend, but I haven't ever done that. Seems to be the end of many a gaskets.

Let me know if you figure anything out as I am curious to be sure.
