Maple Butter Glazed Salmon

Whipped this up last week, and boy was it good! Threw on a homemade rub and glazed it periodically with a 50/50 mixture of maple syrup and butter. Always hits the spot!

That fire looks hot. :wink: How sweet was the end result? It looks really good but I don't have much of a sweet tooth.

I think Dyal stole that picture of the flame from some magazine. How he gets those flareups at the right time is beyond my understanding :)

LOL... Actually the temp was only around 350 f if I recall. The flame you see is from a chunk of fish that fell through the grate onto the coals. :lol: I wasn't gonna tell. ;) Brad, it's not super sweet, but still sweet nonetheless. The rub helps cut it a little. Grif, nope, my wife cooked the asparagus inside.
