I bought a Chargriller Duo 6 years ago and have replaced the grates and flame shields about three years ago. Now they need replacing again and the clips that hold up the flame shields have rusted out. The legs under the charcoal side are also rusting badly and the whole Q tilts to that side. I think that the firebox attached put added stress on those legs. I had to wire brush the gas side hood for rust and repainted that but I can still see the the pattern underneath and that bothers me greatly. I tried a cover when the Q was new but mold started to grow underneath. I live in SW Florida so it is humid here but I still expected this to live longer. I am in the market for a new Q and I will look this time for something with 304 stainless.
