She's soooo close...

Arbor is done. The countertops go in at the end of this week follow by the stucco color coat and then the balance of the appliances (including the grill). This is like watching cement dry... literally!



Can't wait for this to get finished!!!!!

After a break in this weather we've been having I've finally got the color coat on the stucco. On Monday we install the appliances (including the grill!) and the fancy thematic lighting in the arbor. This is exciting! After almost a year in the making, we just about have our Quincho completed.

Looking good! Think you'll be able to use it by Christmas?

Yep. This will definitely be ready by x-mas (I think I just jinxed myself there). In fact I'm supposed to sign off with the inspector on the project on Wednesday next week. One more round of final pictures and the only thing you'll see after that is pix of what comes out of it!

I'm especially excited to get my chops up with the new wood oven. I've not messed with those before but I know this will expand my cooking territory quite a bit. I expect a lot of burnt pizzas and flatbreads before I get this dialed in.
