Anybody have any cooking plans for Thanksgiving this year? I've grilled a turkey the past 2 years but this year dinner moves to somebody else's house, so while I'll be grilling during the weekend it'll be something other than poultry!
Thanksgiving day as usual- Smoke roasted turkey and Tart cranberry dipping sauce are the dishes I am in charge of. That and drinking Beer and Wild Turkey. Gobble gobble gobble
Ordered a fresh turkey today to pick up next Wednesday afternoon. Going to put it on the Weber and cook indirect......my younger son is coming home and will do most of the work and I get to watch
Cutting up and Sous-Viding two small birds (about 10 pounds each) in two different ways, and finishing them off on the indoor grill up at the cabin (outdoors will be too wet and cold). Chorizo sausage stuffing, Zinfandel cranberry sauce, smoke roasted mashed potatoes, gravy from a bunch of chicken backs wings and feet I used to make stock with and a ton of other sides... I have my work cut out for me. But its a labor of love
