Electric charcoal starters

I will stick with my chimney but other folks may want to take the plunge.

They work, but at hunt camp we'd burn one out every 2 years & a weber chimney on top of our fish fryer jet burner is much quicker

My father in law used one exclusivley, but as Lostarrow said, they burned out quickly. I'm a chimney guy too.

Weber chimney on my Performers propane start is what I use most of the time.
When it's clogged or I'm out of gas I use Weber wax cubes which are great!

My father-in-law gave me his old one over 20 years ago and at the time he hadn't used it for years. I can't remember if I ever used it or not...maybe I should show it to the "Antiques Roadshow" people!
