Next weekend in Waveland Park Lakeview Chicago. Saturday 11 A.M. - 6 P.M. and Sunday Noon - 5 P.M.
Food Tastings - Grilling Demonstrations - Weber Classes - Live Music
Some of the demonstrators are Guy Fieri, Adam Perry Lang, Jamie Purviance, and Stephanie Izard from Chicago's Girl & Goat restaraunt.
I'm going to do the dessert class on Saturday and the pizza class on Sunday.
The way I signed up I'll also get 2 copies of Weber's new Cook book - Smoke.
Anyone else planning to go?

Sounds like a good time but previous commitments will keep me away.

I realize Adam Perry Lang has a good reputation but when it comes to barbecue the middle name of a guy who goes by 3 should be Bob, Joe, Ray, or something like that.

Demo's that I really want to see are Stephanie Izard from Chicago's Girl & the Goat - have read good things about her and the Girl & the Goat. She'll be doing Kalbi style beef ribs. Haven't eaten there yet, but it's the restaraunt we'll go to when wife and I get a chance to go into Chicago for dinner. Also want to see Guy Fieri's demo just because he's such a riot on TV with Drive-Ins, Diners, & Dives. He'll be doing Cali style grilling. Jamie Purviance will be doing ribs. He compiles he Weber books and I've had success with some of the things I've tried from them.
