Another week, another weekend!

So what's goin' on?

I don't have anything in particular planned but some chicken might be good...

I'm thinking sausages. Brats, mustard, onion, beer, garlic, caraway, butter...

Was gonna go fishin' today and pack some leftovers with me...but stupid me forgot and left the hummingbird on, so my boat's battery is dead. So now I'm stuck here on my day off with nothing to do. That's not a bad thing though... Think I'll go to the store and pickup something to smoke. Maybe some ribs. Tomorrow is the neighborhood block party...may take a grilled appetizer of some sort to take with me... Then on Sunday, no plans...Probably just wing it.

Next weekend though is the 3rd Annual MANCATION... this is where SCmustardman and I get together for fishin' and barbecue at his sister's lake house. I always school him... Maybe this year will be his year though...guess we will see.

I think we are gonna have to whip up a batch of Dos-a-ritas, maybe some fajitas or nachos or something Tex Mex for Cinco de Drinko (Cinco de mayo)

Derby Cookout with some family and friends.

Got some Beef Ribs on the smoker now. My clothes are already perfumed by the wonderful array of apple, cherry and hickory smoke.

So jealous!! The machine I run at work broke down yesterday. We couldn't trouble shoot it over the phone and I'm sitting here waiting for a tech guy to come out and fix it. So far I've been here at work for 5 hours with nothing to do. I am so bored.
