NYC Restaurant Recommendations

My wife and I are going to NYC for a wedding anniversary weekend. We've never been there before and we're looking for recommendations on restaurants. We're not really looking for BBQ on this trip. We'll be staying one block from Times Square and would like to know about restaurants close by. If you have any recommendations please let me know.

Everything is pretty easily accessible by subway, so you can probably range pretty far.

That said, Peter Luger's steakhouse has some mouth-watering dry aged steak.

It is a must in NYC to get a dirty water hot dog. You will see the street carts with the Sabrett umbrellas and that is the key. Sabrett dog with onion sauce is awesome and a NY tradition.

I ordered the 20oz Ribeye at The Strip House and was very satisfied to say the least. http://www.striphouse.com/ The goose fat potatoes were amazing as well.

We took a cab from Times Square but actually walked back in about 30 minutes. I needed to walk off that fine piece of meat.
