Mine is pretty straight forward...JD_Smokes: Well JD is a handle I'm used to going by now and have for quite a while, but surprise it has nothing to do with my real name. Actually, JD is short for Jack Daniels. And "smokes", well, I'll leave that to you to figure out. :D:D So there you have it, JD_Smokes.

It is my wife's nickname for me. She is the dreamer, always coming up with home improvements, re-decorating ideas, grand vacations, etc., etc. I am the one who says "that will cost a lot' or "that will really be hard to do or beyond my capabilities" or any other reason why we couldn't or shouldn't do it. So I am her dream killer. Funny thing is, she gets me thinking about it and I generally end up doing 90% of the things she wants to do. She just knows she has to warm me up to it slowly. And they generally don't turn on to be as hard to do as I thought. (But don't tell her that! )

Funny - you sound like my "brother from another mother".
I have found that if I procrastinate starting a project long enough, many times it changes in design or becomes something the wife decided she really didn't want done after all.
