Introduce yourself! What does your username say about you?

I think this is my first post. I have one of Steven's books and love his cooking. I just changed grills to a used 30" Lynx with infrared burner and rotisserie. I just got all new tools (from this site) and LOVE them. I use mostly Japanese handmade knives in my kitchen and LOVE them also. I don't use many gadgets, so I put money where I'll use it the most. I've been cooking since I was 5. I also have a water smoker that I'll use a few times a year.

My name is from the fact that I grew up and live again in CT. I went to Oklahoma University (Boomer Sooner, which is also the name of my grill). You can do the math, lol.

I post a ton on oufans.com, foodieforums.com (knife section) and a variety of woodworking sites (another hobby).
