I think this is my first post. I have one of Steven's books and love his cooking. I just changed grills to a used 30" Lynx with infrared burner and rotisserie. I just got all new tools (from this site) and LOVE them. I use mostly Japanese handmade knives in my kitchen and LOVE them also. I don't use many gadgets, so I put money where I'll use it the most. I've been cooking since I was 5. I also have a water smoker that I'll use a few times a year.

My name is from the fact that I grew up and live again in CT. I went to Oklahoma University (Boomer Sooner, which is also the name of my grill). You can do the math, lol.

I post a ton on oufans.com, foodieforums.com (knife section) and a variety of woodworking sites (another hobby).

Welcome to the board, ctsooner! :D
Unlike propane, you'll never wake up scorched and naked in another county because you mishandled a bag of briquettes.

Mzungu = White person / foreigner in the local African languages. Since I'm an American living in Uganda, it seemed to fit.

Hey guys! New here. Loving it so far. My Handle is from video gaming. It originally was from a style of electronic music called HI_NRG and it stuck to me.

I live in Jacksonville, Florida and officially have the grill bug. I look forward to many days of coal therapy!!
Something witty goes here.
