Ribs in Nashville

My GF will be travelling to Nashville in June to work at the CMA Fest. It's being held at Nashville convention Center I believe.

What are the odds of finding some good Q around there? In the past, she ate at the Wildhorse and things were good but something tells me there must be some place near there with killer ribs.

Any suggestions?

I don't live there so others may have a suggestion or 2, but I ate at Calhoun's the last time I went to Memphis and they were pretty tasty.

Jack's is pretty good. I went there during a conference a couple years ago. I went a couple nights during my visit and was able to try a few items. Nice folks. Several types of sauce to apply yourself, which I personally like. Give it a shot.

If you have to spend any time in the airport, try "Whitt's Barbecue" - somewhere in the terminal. I had the pork sandwich and it was fairly tasty! Good moisture and texture with thick red sauce on it.
