University of Notre Dame - Indiana???

Anyone got some Great dining spots in the area to share?

I am heading there next week for Law enforcement training and a week on the road I will need good food and maybe some pointers on places in area for after class.

Will be there Sunday night until drive home Friday afternoon.

Are you looking for strictly barbecue or are all kinds of food on the list? The Roadfood.com forums are a good source of info.

Anyone know about "The Vine"

They look like a good Steak place for one night and have a 16oz Cowboy Rib-eye for $21.95 (YUM!)

I am hoping someone will know if it is as good dining as it sounds.

There is a very good resturant right at the end of the parking lot for the Football stadium. Legends of ND. ALso I have heard Frankies BBQ is very good. It's a few miles away on 331N if I remember right. I would comapre Legends to a Fridays type of place. Besides that Iam not real sure. Ilive about 20 miles from ND and most decent BBQ around here has closed.

What about Double "T" BBQ?

It looks like a okay place.

I have an acquaintance in South Bend and while he's never eaten at The Vine he says he's heard good things about it.
