This is an old post....but GT Souths is hands down the best BBQ joint in Indianapolis. I used to live less than a mile from it, and it was all too tempting to go there more than once a week.

Great ribs, pulled pork and even a mean brisket.

I've been going to Indy for the last 7 years for the F1 race and have never been there!

I'm always looking for a good joint to eat, but thought that St Elmo's was as good as it got. I'm not much on dressing up, waiting or paying massive $$$ for food so I only get there every other year. Sounds like I could have been happy with Q and missed a few chinese buffets along the way(my hotel is 20 yards from a decent one).
