Best BBQ place in Toronto

Any thoughts on good BBQ places in and around Toronto Ontario? I go there regularly and have yet to find anything decent. The Purple Pig downtown has decent ribs, but other than that, everything seems to be chain restaurants with so-so food.

Anyone have any good experiences they'd like to talk about or share?

If your still looking for a good place for BBQ around Toronto I have a suggestion for you. This place is near Toronto in Paris Ontario. It's called Camp 31 and as far know it's the only place around. Give them a try.

My gosh. I wish I was profitting from Camp 31! After a great BBQ meal I get this little piece of paper with a total on it. That means it's time to leave and this is what you owe for the meal.
Knowing me Bob if there was money to be made I would more then likely eat all the profits up.

Just wanted to bring this thread back up.

I was heading to Toronto this week and stopped off in Barrie Ontario. Had the chance to visit Mike Love's BBQ and Smokehouse.

Had the Pulled Pork and Brisket and both were fantastic. The sauce for the brisket was not as spicy as a I like but was a great blend of flavors. The sauce served with the pulled pork was vinegar based and was also excellent.

I highly recommend this restaurant.

I was just driving through the area and thought I would stop in at Mike Love's again today.

The place has shut down... closed for good.

It was sad to see and I had to settle for a burger instead of ribs.
