Although this isnt a recipe book in my opinion, it is a very useful book to have that will teach you techniques that you probably wont forget. Recipe wise, there is one recipe per type of food, but he covers every piece of food. Examples of the techniques that are great,:
how to extract bitter juices from eggplant
how to grill asparagus ( I would either try to be careful or use a grill basket , but his way is great especially for presentation )
different cuts of beefs ( marinading, direct grilling, etc.. )
how to grill lettuce, yes lettuce.
I dont want to go on forever
towards the end of the book is all the recipes for rubs and mop sauces,
but I`ll stress again that the techniques are what makes this book special which you can apply to any recipe from any book, hence the title How to grill instead of grill recipes.
