I thought ya'll might like this one. We make this for family parties. It's great for an appetizer.
1 lb large shrimp , 20-30 count , peeled and devained
3 tbs olive oil
2 clove garlic , minced
1 cup half and half
1 tsp tabasco
tony chachere's ( cajun spices )
1 Loaf french bread
1/8 tsp red pepper (cayenne)
Skwer shrimp and coat with oil and tony's and red pepper , both sides. Place over direct heat at grill for 4-6 min, turning once.
In a sauce pan, put oil and garlic. heat for 2-3 min.
Add Tabasco and 1/2 and 1/2 , a little extra cream wouldn't be bad.
Bring to a slight boil. Just enough to get the cream heated.
Remove from heat .
Place sauce in a bowl that can accept the heat. Add the shrimp. Let soak for 2 minutes.
Let everyone scoop out want they want, use the french bread for soaking up the cream sauce.
