If you are looking for a bbq/backed onion recipe, try this one.
Take 1 vidalia onion, peel first layer, core it like an apple 1/2 way through, and slice it in 1/4's, (DO NOT CUT ALL THE WAY THRU!!) Place in 2 sheets of aluminum foil.
In the center where it was cored add 1 beef bouillon cube and cover the entire top of the onion with refrigerated butter. Double wrap with the foil and place on the grill for 45 minutes to an hour. Best served with a baked potato or just plain.
