Hurricane I'zzy and the wood pile

Isabell slamm'in the east coast Mid-Atlantic a few weeks back put down a whole lot'a hard wood - can't give away a cord a wood - even cut, delvered and stacked.
Any way, Dad lost a Pecan and some dead, dry chuncks ended up in my smoker and kettle grill. What a treat! The green is now drying in my wood pile for future use.
You Texans keeping Pecan a secret and export'in only Mesquite or am I just not paying attention?

Yes, pecan wood is supposed to be a secret! We don't let it out of the state unless you know the secret handshake!

Does anyone know of a place online that I can purchse pecan wood from - I have checked with the local suppliers that I get my other woods from and have had no luck.
