Yes, we've heard it all before. This is the year you'll hit the gym, lose that 20 lbs, and finally finish that book you've been meaning to read. That's all great--if you stick to it--but what about your grilling and barbecue resolutions? Will you smoke a whole pig? Or master a certain style? Let us know!

It's too early to think about 2014 - everyone knows the best resolutions are made New Year's Eve! :wink:

I think #5 on the list would be good for me. Salad and dessert are 2 things I haven't grilled (because I don't eat them) and I should definitely give them a try.

I'm looking forward to the new book! Now if Steven would just do a PBS special on the culinary history of his hometown of Baltimore (pit beef, crab cakes, Boog's BBQ), with a special appearance by John Waters. :twisted:
