Anyone tried this smoker? :? I saw a ad to it while I was perusing Facebook today. Smoke your ribs in 1 hour 15 minutes! Comments on youtube by owners of this smoker are mostly positive.

Everything I've seen points to it as being a cooker more than a smoker, with not a whole lot of flavor from the fuel getting into the food. But it apparently does its job well.

I would love to have perfect weather everytime I use my smoker...
Lets see that thing in action when there are 30 mph winds and a hard driving rain. Good luck.
I have actually done this numerous times with my WSM. You burn through a little more charcoal but it can be done.

Yeah, I figure wind would be the biggest issue. I viewed their forum, and I was told that folks are on the look-out for galvanized steel cans to place the Orion into when the wind is blowing. Not sure what wind speed would affect it to operate properly.
