It wasn't supposed to be but the butcher shop didn't have any Italian sausage (what's up with that?), so I had to compromise.

At least they had some chicken breasts in an Italian marinade.

Oops...they stuck to the grill a little bit, but I was able to pull most of the pieces from the grate.

I sliced them up and added them to the pot of store-bought sauce.

After simmering the sauce for awhile I ladled it over some spaghetti, and while it was pretty good the chicken didn't add as much flavor as I think I would've gotten from sausage. OTOH, I can say it was a lot healthier!

I recently took a simular turn. I grilled chicken breast in olive oil, garlic, thyme, and basil. I grilled the chicken breast and topped with smoked provolone. Grilled chicken parmesan. I served it with a quick homemade sauce.

That sounds good! I'm definitely going to have to give that a try sometime.

Been to Capt. Anderson's lately?

Not a big fan of chicken with "red" sauce.

I made a Gluten free Alfredo sauce with GF Multi-Grain Penne pasta that I served Grilled Cajun chicken breast on.

Forgot pictures as normal lately :(

Im not a big fan of Capt. Andersons. I know the owners but they feed too many people so the quality is not there.

I love alfredo sauce so that sounds really good! I've never made one from scratch, though...is gluten present in a typical recipe?
