Here are some turtle eggs that I whipped up recently with a 50/50 mixture of ground venison and jimmy dean sage sausage...also seasoned the meat mixture with some Reduced Sodium Dales Seasoning and a BBQ Rub.....they were stuffed with whipped cream cheese, colby jack and jalapenos. Then smoked until a 160 deg f internal temp. Good stuff.

Excellent appetizers! I'll bet the cheese did a good job of mellowing the jalapenos.

Can't go wrong with turtle egg! Nicely done. Appears like more of them remained "sealed" and didn't leak as much as when we first started doing these.
