She's Finished!

Well, after almost one year, 5 contractors, countless headaches and around 100k (everything with these projects is double the time and double the budget somehow) she's finally finished.

My very own Argentine wood burning Quincho, complete with Horno de Barro (AKA Pizza Oven). Of course it's been raining pretty good out here on the west coast so I can't get all the pictures I want yet - but this should give you the idea...





As soon as it clears up a bit, I'll add more pictures of my baby. This is pretty exciting, can't wait to burn this thing in - maybe this weekend will be the first one.

The only thing that's missing is a retractable roof like those used on a lot of new stadiums these days. That way you wouldn't have to worry about rainouts.
