Poor Man's Steak, 'Taters, and Beans

Picked up a London Broil cheap on sale. I cut them up into pieces, what my brother and I affectionately call C.P.R.'s (Cubic Personal Roasts). I go crazy with the coarse ground S&P on these. And they are delish! Here we go...





These little 'taters are about the size of golf balls, not much bigger. Fun size. I got smarter this time. In low light, I did without the flash and went ISO 800. But I digress. Humble looking meal perhaps, but I enjoyed it so much that by the time I finished, I had a craving for another plate! Served on deep blue GraniteWare for that ol' time rustic touch.

No reason a poor man can't eat like a king, right? That's a good-looking plate!

I love London Broil. Great cut... just cut them super thin and there is lots of flavor.

I put a ton of pepper and steak seasoning on... love those bits of pepper corn and seasoning.

Its great to feed a family of 5, too.

I could eat like a poor man ANY DAY at your house, BC!
