I’ve received a lot of help over the years from this site and the great folks on it. If you’ve seen some of my recent posts you’ll know I bought a Large Big Green Egg the beginning of August. I’ve been enjoying the heck out of it, and some of you have been teasing me I might wear it out if that is possible. Me I’d say Dyal would be the likely candidate to wear out a BGE, but I digress. These last couple weeks we’ve been having work done on the inside of our house and I haven’t been cooking new things. I have been feeding the guys working on the house lunch grilled on the Egg every day for the last two weeks. I’ve actually got a few of them thinking to buy an Egg after tasting the food coming of it, But I digress.

The other thing I’ve been doing is writing some blogs for my website related to my whole Eggsperience up until now. I wanted to record my first impressions: From why I decided to go with the Egg, to my initial impressions about the Egg & some of the Eggcessories I've purchased. I also talk about how real world experience compares to some of the myths and legends out there about the Egg. I figured I’d share the links because some of the topics I wrote about might help other folks who are trying to decide whether to get a BGE or not. I also figured some of my early experiences might help others out who might have just gotten new Eggs.

Lastly there is even a blog on Total Cost of Ownership that might interest long time Egg owners where I analyzed charcoal usage and how the Eggs stingy use of charcoal means big savings.

So here are the Big Green Egg related blog links. If you’ve never visited my website, Grillin' & Smookin' feel free to poke around. There are 400 plus picture entries for those of you whole like food porn and another 300 blog entries. Please leave comments or sign the Guestbook too if you are so inclined.

Thanks Griffin! I didn't necessarily expect everyone to read every article, but if you want to knock yourself out. I figured there might be a little something in there for everyone interested in the Egg at some level and people would pick and choose which articles they choose to read.
