Whipped up some of the Original Cornell Chicken marinade from BBQ USA last night. I didn't have any whole chickens, so I just used some skinless boneless chicken breasts. I made sure to poke them down with a fork to help the marinade penetrate.
I also buttered up some homemade burger rolls and toasted those up on the grill.
Pretty good meal....and quick, which was nice since it's so hot out. The Cornell marinade tasted awesome. I can't wait to try it on a whole chicken next time.
Oo-la-la! Luv your pub style "chicken burger"-- thick and meaty! You grilled those breasts up real purdy, Dyal. Yeah, that Cornell flavor is mighty fine. I dig the use of that poultry seasoning. I hope you are managing well in the weather, my friend. I'll try to drop by again within a couple days.
Very nice, Dyal! Normally I'm not a fan of B&S chicken but brining with Cornell seasonings looks like a great way to both moisture and flavor into the meat.
Hi, Dyal! Just a heads-up... Steven wants to post some of the highlights from the Barbecue Board over the 4th of July holiday, and was impressed with your photos and sandwich! Nice job.
